Future contributors, we have made a few changes to our guidelines . We now ask that you please include a 3rd person bio along with your submission , to be included in the issue if we do accept your work. If you've already submitted something and didn't include a bio, no worries. Additionally, we have defined what we mean by a reprint (anything previously published anywhere, including social media); we do not accept reprints. And, going forward, we will no longer be accepting attachments  - per the guidelines, please include your story/poem AND 3rd person bio in the body of the email itself . Thanks!

We are open for submissions NOW THRU APRIL 30TH!* Originally we were planning to go away for awhile, but things changed -- everywhere -- and we thought it would be helpful for us and maybe for you to reopen for another issue. No theme this time around; write what you'd like, just make sure you follow the guidelines . *this deadline subject to change -- i.e., extend -- but don't wait too long!

Check it out here ! A big thank-you to our contributors and to everyone's understanding about pushing up the deadline. Going forward, detritus  will be published on a more impulsive/spontaneous basis, rather than quarterly(ish). So watch this space and the Twitter page !

Submissions are officially closed. We are still waiting on a few contributor bios and our cover. Once we have those, the issue will drop. Watch this space!

Due to some unforeseen Life Stuff, we will be pushing up the deadline for submissions for Issue 4 to THIS SUNDAY, 2/23, 11:59PM EST. Send us your Final Girl-themed horror poems and stories by or before then. We’ve already got plenty of work for a full issue, but we’d love more. Good news is, we will also be PUBLISHING EARLY, probably next week sometime or as soon as we get the cover done.
